Law Day 2023
The Law Day 2023 theme, Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility, and Collaboration, invites all people of the United States to join in rebuilding trust in institutions, respect for one another, and a willingness to collaborate to address the challenges that face our nation.
In conjunction with Law Day 2023, the Supreme Court Law Library is debuting its Zine Collection (What is a Zine?) by releasing our inaugural Zine: Voting: A Cornerstone of Democracy. Voting is one avenue that people can effect change in a democratic society in hopes for a better and stronger nation. Library staff members edited a Zine that was created by Bronwyn Mauldin to help promote voting in Hawai‘i. Click here for access to a printable pdf version of the Zine. A hardcopy of this Zine is available for viewing at the library.
In keeping with the theme of Law Day 2023, the Supreme Court Law Library has added the following titles to our collection. These books are featured as part of an in-library display. We welcome all to visit and explore our new resources!
