Law Day 2023

The Law Day 2023 theme, Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility, and Collaboration, invites people across the United States to rebuild trust in institutions, respect for one another, and a willingness to collaborate to address the challenges facing our nation.

In conjunction with Law Day 2023, the Supreme Court Law Library is debuting its Zine Collection (What is a Zine?) by releasing our inaugural Zine: Voting: A Cornerstone of Democracy.

Voting is one way people can effect change in a democratic society and help build a better and stronger nation. Library staff edited a Zine created by Bronwyn Mauldin to help promote voting in Hawai‘i.

Click here to access a printable PDF version of the Zine. A hard copy is also available for viewing at the library.

In keeping with the theme of Law Day 2023, the Supreme Court Law Library has added the following titles to our collection. These books are featured as part of an in-library display.

We welcome everyone to visit and explore our new resources.
